monday morning encouragement

Confidence. It’s hard to come by sometimes, am I right? It’s hard to feel like you’re truly doing your best, or even doing something worth while. It’s hard to know if you’re doing what you’re supposed to be doing in life, or if you’re living the way you are destined to be living. When times get tough or rocky it’s so easy to be doubtful. When hiccups come out of no where, it’s seems right to want to throw in the towel & just do something that would be “easier”. But life isn’t easy. Not for the girl who’s a mom, or the one who is single, not for the one who works a corporate job, or the one who owns her own business. If you really want something, you have to work hard at it no matter how long it takes you to get there. Be confident in who you are & the path you’re on.

I can’t tell you how many times I have wanted to quit blogging & social media & posting & just go back to what other people would call a normal life. I have wanted to give up SO many times. But, every time I let one of those thoughts start to win, I would open an email that offered a new opportunity. I’d then think to myself, “Okay, you’re not done yet.”, & not only because of whatever was being offered was too good to pass up. I mean yeah, the emails always had “worth it” values inside, but more so, getting an email from a new company when I was lacking confidence & drive meant that someone was seeing a value in me. The times that I saw no worth in what I was doing anymore would be the times that I needed someone else to shout “You’re doing great girl, keep it up!”. I just needed an outside voice to remind me of that.

So today, I’m going to be your outside voice, & I’m going to encourage you to be the voice that somebody else needs to hear. Are you ready? Because…

You are mom-ing so hard & doing a fantastic job.

You are being a great wife & friend.

You are such an inspiring daughter.

You are an imaginative & creative person.

You are killin’ it in the office.

You are a kind neighbor.

You are worthy of time, love, & energy.

You are strong, & I want you to know that.

You are following your dream & it is worth it.

Be confident in yourself, & the path you’re on.

I am confident in you because I know that you are doing exactly what you were made to do.

Always know that your worth comes from within & that once you realize that, your life will be beaming with true confidence.
