monday morning encouragement: just roll with it

I honestly don’t know how we’re already well into August by now with summer ending just around the corner. Everyone always says time goes by so quickly, but this is the first year where it seems like it’s actually true. I feel like last Monday was just yesterday, the 4th of July was last week, & New Year’s Day was just a month ago. This year the days have felt so close together instead of truly hours & hours apart.

I don’t know if it’s because this year has been so eventful for me that makes it feel that way, but I do know this year time has just seemed to blur altogether. This year I have learned & grown so much & have become more me than I ever thought was possible. This year I’ve learned who I am, or rather who I always kind of knew I wanted to be. This year, I’ve learned to just roll with it.

Roll with the days, they’re over so fast.

Roll with the weeks, they’re what carry you to & from changes in life.

Roll with the unknowns of tomorrow, the unexpected can bring about good things.

Roll with the knowledge that yesterday is forever gone, you can’t get it back no matter how badly you might want to.

Roll with saying yes, an opportunity experienced is better than one that’s not lived.

Roll with being true to who you are, if you’re not you then you’re cheating the world of something great.

Roll with failure, it doesn’t mean you have to give up.

Roll with fighting circumstance, just because something is doomed to be one way doesn’t mean you have to let it be.

Roll with forgiveness & second chances, humans are humans & we all mess up.

Roll with the good, it’s worth more when you lived through the bad.

Roll with your feelings, they’re there for a reason.

Roll with learning lessons, growing is better than staying stubborn & stuck.

Roll with heartache, you’ll be a better & stronger you on the other side.

Just roll with it.

Maybe I’m alone in living a life that is literally different every day & certainly different than the week before, but it’s the only life I know. And I’m learning to just roll with it.
