I’m not very good at quotes or quoting people or movies or even telling stories correctly. I don’t really have a big enough of an attention span to be able to understand a deeper meaning behind someone’s philosophical statement. That’s just not how my brain works. So I don’t live by quotes. I don’t quote people (only on occasion when it’s from Mean Girls or Bridesmaids). I just don’t see the point of living your life based on the words of another. Lol, then why do I even write blogs or believe the Bible, right? Haha, not the point I’m trying to make exactly guys. Anyway, there is this one quote that I see quite often talked about by the younger generations, “not all who wander are lost.” Apparently it’s by J.R. Tolkien, that’s what my friend Maggie called me out on I guess. But I would so argue that statement. I believe all who wander are indeed lost. Think about it, if you don’t know where you’re going, aren’t you lost? Like we all may think we know where we’re going. But how many of us actually get there the way we mapped it all out. Like no one really. That’s because we’re lost. We wanna get somewhere but we don’t know exactly how to get there which is basically the definition of being lost. Or we all feel like we’re getting somewhere but no one is noticing which means we’re lost among the people. It’s just a big old empty world with people wandering around lost. Where’s the hope? You’re never lost when you are God’s child. He knows exactly where you are at all times & places of your life. He sees you & you are never lost to Him. That’s a pretty cool feeling knowing that the God of the E N T I R E universe cares enough to know exactly where I am. With Him, no matter how much I wander, I am never lost.

You’re not lost. Jesus sees you. Remember that.
